Briefing of the Accounts Chamber on the results of 2024
A briefing dedicated to the activities of the Accounts Chamber in 2024 was held at the Agency for Information and Mass Communications. The event presented information on the systemic work and transformational processes implemented within the Accounts Chamber.

According to reports, in 2024, the Accounts Chamber developed audit standards for performance, compliance, financial, strategic, and IT audits, based on advanced international practices, along with methodological guidelines for their implementation. A total of 33 departmental and regulatory legal documents were adopted.
To accelerate digitalization, the operations of the Accounts Chamber’s Remote Control Center and the “State Audit” information system – aimed at monitoring financial activities—were further systematized.
The Remote Control Center formalized information exchange agreements with 98 ministries and agencies.
In line with the instructions of the Head of State dated January 16, 2024, the Accounts Chamber, in cooperation with the Prosecutor General’s Office, maintained ongoing oversight over the strengthening of budget discipline and optimization of expenditures in 12 ministries that are the largest recipients of budget funds.
“Situation Centers” were established in these ministries to ensure real-time monitoring of budget discipline. These centers were integrated with the Accounts Chamber’s information systems “Remote Audit” and “Monitoring Portal,” and assigned with dedicated staff.
According to the annual control program, 60 audits were conducted, along with 45 thematic and practical assistance activities across regions and sectors.
As a result, budget expenditures were optimized by 9.2 trillion soums, additional income sources totaling 4.5 trillion soums were identified, and excessive expenses amounting to 419 billion soums were eliminated.
It was also announced that in 2025, the Accounts Chamber will continue efforts to strengthen budget discipline, prevent inefficient spending, increase additional budget revenues, ensure revenue completeness, and find solutions to systemic issues.
