The purpose of the visit was to strengthen relations between the supreme audit institutions of the two countries and exchange experience in the field of external audit.

During the meeting, presentations prepared by the delegations of both parties were heard. The presentations focused on current thematic areas of audit. In particular, an exchange of views took place on improving audit methods, modern audit technologies and information technology systems.

A Memorandum was also signed between the parties aimed at strengthening cooperation with the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China.

This Memorandum provides for agreements on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the supreme financial control institutions of the two countries, the exchange of experience in the field of external audit methodologies, information technologies and innovative solutions, as well as on increasing human resources potential and promoting professional development.
