Chamber of Accounts Recognized as the “Best Organization in Digital Public Audit”
As part of ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2026, held in Tashkent from 22 to 25 September, a ceremony was held to recognize organizations that have demonstrated active efforts in introducing digital technologies into public administration and socio-economic sectors.

On 24 September, the forum entitled “Digital State: A Unified Approach, Modern Governance and New Opportunities for Citizens” concluded its work.
The event brought together more than 200 sector specialists and experts.
As part of the event, the digitalization activities of government bodies and organizations were analyzed, and organizations that achieved the most advanced results were recognized in 17 main categories.
The process covered the activities of 44 ministries and agencies. Their achievements in introducing digital services, integrating information systems, digitalizing management processes, and using modern technologies and artificial intelligence solutions were examined.
At the award ceremony, the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Uzbekistan was named the winner of the “Best Organization in Digital Public Audit” category.
The award recognized the work carried out by the Chamber of Accounts in digitalizing public financial control, using modern information technologies in audit processes, analyzing large volumes of data, identifying risks in advance, and expanding remote audit mechanisms.
At present, the Chamber of Accounts is paying particular attention to automating control and analytical processes and developing digital audit tools.
Opportunities are being expanded to obtain and integrate data related to the use of budget funds from various information systems, assess risks, analyze the state of budget discipline, and conduct audit activities remotely.
In particular, digital audit approaches are creating opportunities to reduce the human factor in control activities, make effective use of available data, and identify potential financial risks before they arise.
Within ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2026, the activities of organizations were reviewed across strategic areas such as “Control, Audit and Legislation,” “Social Sector and Public Services,” “Industry, Sectors and Infrastructure,” and “Regional Governance and Service Delivery.”
In particular, under the control, audit and legislation category, the digitalization achievements of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Supreme Court, in addition to those of the Chamber of Accounts, were also recognized.
The National Agency for Social Protection, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology, the Tax Committee and Customs Committee, as well as other organizations, were also recognized in various categories.
The recognized categories also included “Most Active Organization in Developing Electronic Participation,” “Best Organization in Digitalizing Control Processes,” “Organization Providing the Most Proactive Digital Services,” “Leading Organization in Implementing Artificial Intelligence Solutions,” “Organization Implementing the Best Digital Geodata Solution,” and “Organization Creating the Best Smart Transport Ecosystem.”
The forum discussed the current state and prospects of digital transformation and identified priority tasks for more effective use of digital technologies in public administration in the future.
First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies A. Sultonov attended the award ceremony and presented awards to the winners in the respective categories.
The Chamber of Accounts’ recognition as the winner of the “Best Organization in Digital Public Audit” category demonstrates the continued and consistent work on the digital transformation of public financial control, the introduction of advanced technologies into audit processes, and the practical application of modern audit approaches.
The Chamber of Accounts will continue its efforts to further expand digital audit capabilities, develop data-driven audit approaches, and improve the effectiveness of public financial control through the use of modern technologies.
