The report on the execution of financial and other receipts to political parties and their expenditures for 2024 has undergone external audit and evaluation
The Chamber of Accounts conducted an external audit and evaluation of the report on the execution of financial and other receipts to political parties and their expenditures for 2024.

Control over the receipt of financial and other funds by political parties, as well as their targeted use, is carried out by the Chamber of Accounts.
In accordance with the Law “On Financing of Political Parties,” the financing of political parties’ activities предусмотренных their charters is carried out through funds allocated from the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan, membership fees, income from entrepreneurial activities, and charitable donations from legal entities and citizens.
The amount of funds allocated from the state budget for financing political parties is determined based on the number of citizens included in voter lists in the most recent elections to the Legislative Chamber.
These funds are distributed among political parties in proportion to the number of seats they obtained in the Legislative Chamber.
During the audit, an assessment was made of whether the income of political parties was formed in compliance with legal requirements, whether funds were used for their intended purposes, and whether they were accurately reflected in financial reports.
During the reporting period, funds were mainly directed to:
-maintaining the executive apparatus to carry out activities provided in party charters;
-organizing media appearances of party members and publishing campaign materials;
-holding conferences and congresses, training party activists, conducting seminars and trainings, and covering election-related expenses.
Based on the audit results, it was noted that some revenues and expenditures were incorrectly reflected in the financial statements of the parties. The identified shortcomings were eliminated by the political parties, and action plans were developed to prevent such issues in the future.
Following the audit, the Chamber of Accounts’ conclusions were submitted for presentation by political parties to the Legislative Chamber.
