Ms. Yuiko, Representative of the Japanese Delegation: “Uzbekistan’s Achievements in Digital Audit Are Even More Advanced Than We Expected”

Within the framework of the international conference held in Tashkent on “Digitalization of Audit Processes and Analysis of Big Data through Artificial Intelligence,” representatives of the Japanese delegation shared their views on the digital transformation processes taking place in Uzbekistan, innovative approaches in public auditing, and prospects for international cooperation.

According to the Japanese participants, this was their first visit to Uzbekistan, and the country’s openness, hospitality, and modern reforms left a strong impression on them:

“The people of Uzbekistan are very sincere and hospitable. We would like to come here again together with our friends,” noted one of the delegation members.

Within the conference framework, discussions focused on cooperation among Supreme Audit Institutions, exchange of information and experience in auditing, introduction of digital audit tools, and development of modern analytical methods.

Japanese specialists especially emphasized the high level of work being carried out in Uzbekistan to introduce artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions into the public audit system.

“Artificial intelligence technologies and digital solutions in Uzbekistan turned out to be even more advanced than we expected. The conference was highly useful and had strong practical value,” said a representative of the delegation.

Members of the Japanese delegation also became closely acquainted with the activities of the Accounts Chamber’s Remote Audit Center and highly appreciated the innovative mechanisms and analytical systems applied there.

In their opinion, the digital control and analytical mechanisms implemented at the center play an important role in increasing the effectiveness of public auditing.

“The detailed and innovative systems at the Remote Audit Center generated great interest for us. Introducing similar solutions in Japan may require certain efforts, but this experience has been extremely valuable for us,” the delegation representatives noted.

Japanese experts emphasized that broad use of Big Data, video surveillance, and digital monitoring systems in audit processes is becoming one of the most important directions in public auditing today.

It should be noted that this international conference is being organized within the framework of implementing the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan aimed at modernizing the public audit and financial control system.

The main objective of the event is to develop analytical mechanisms based on digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and Big Data in public auditing, exchange international experience, and further strengthen cooperation among Supreme Audit Institutions.
