To strengthen budget discipline, a joint resolution of the Chamber of Accounts (COA), the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was adopted.

In accordance with it, it was determined to establish strict and effective control over the expenditure of budget funds of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and organizations included in its system.

The COA’s information system "Remote Centre" constantly analyzes the risks identified in the internal control structures of the Ministry.

On July 4, a coordination meeting of the COA with the management of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education was held. The meeting discussed the progress of the execution of instructions included into the electronic system "Ijro.gov.uz".

Particular attention was paid to collecting, summarizing and analyzing information necessary for the effective functioning of the "Situation Centre" created under the Ministry on the COA’s initiative.

It was noted that the internal audit service of the Ministry should ensure a high-quality assessment of the effectiveness of development programs and the full inclusion of their results in the COA’s "State Audit" e-program.

At the end of the meeting, special focus was put on optimizing expenses, redirecting them to other necessary areas in the field.
