Within the framework of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation met with T. Narbaeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, it was emphasized that cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions of the two countries is steadily developing. It was noted that the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between the parties plays an important role in further strengthening relations and expanding the exchange of experience in this field.

It was also highlighted that studies and analytical work carried out by the Chambers of Accounts are closely linked with parliamentary activities. Establishing effective parliamentary oversight based on the results of control and analytical activities plays an important role in ensuring the effective implementation of state programs.

The parties also exchanged views on forming state and regional budgets based on analytical results, developing preventive recommendations to eliminate shortcomings, digitalizing control systems, and improving preventive mechanisms aimed at combating corruption.

The parties agreed to further develop cooperation between the parliaments and Chambers of Accounts of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan and to expand mutual exchange of experience.
