Auditor General of China met with COA staff studying in Nanjing

The Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Uzbekistan and China have steadily developed a multifaceted relationship. In 2025, the Parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and a Practical Action Plan.

In September 2025, a delegation led by M. Abdullaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts (COA) of Uzbekistan, visited the Nanjing Audit University and held an academic meeting with professors and faculty members.

M. Abdullaev was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" by the Nanjing Audit University for his relevant research in auditing and technology.

Furthermore, for the first time in history, two employees of the COA of Uzbekistan – F. Masharipov and F. Nadjimov – began their studies in a two-year Master's program in auditing at the Nanjing Audit University in the 2025-2027 academic years.

On March 30, 2026, Hou Kai, Auditor General of the Chinese National Audit Office, met with F. Masharipov and F. Nadjimov, students of the Nanjing Audit University.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the educational process at the university from the perspective of Uzbek students, the consistent application of China's public audit experience in Uzbekistan, and strengthening cooperation between the SAIs of the two countries.

During the meeting, Hou Kai also noted that the SAI of China is committed to further strengthening cooperation with the COA of Uzbekistan in relevant areas of public audit and improving the qualifications of its staff.

The Uzbek students also expressed their willingness to further study China's unique experience in public auditing, apply it in practice in Uzbekistan, and contribute to the development of relations between the two institutions.
