As is known, the President of the Republic gave strict instructions to strengthen control over the targeted and effective use of budget funds and budget discipline.

To ensure its implementation, a joint resolution of the COA, the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and the Ministry of Economy and Finance was signed, and an action plan was approved.

Joint resolutions were also signed with 22 ministries and departments receiving the largest funds from the budget, and the concerning measures were taken.

Today, the meeting addressed the state of affairs carried out in this direction.

The COA’s Deputy Chairman S. Mirzayev emphasized the importance of organization, digitalization, optimization of control over the above-mentioned measures, strengthening current control in the treasury, ensuring more effective implementation of tasks in the field of public procurement, investment, construction, external debt and other areas.

The meeting was held in an open and constructive format.

The participants were given new instructions to improve the efficiency of budget expenditures and strengthen financial control.
