Delegation of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Visits the Chamber of Accounts
A meeting was held at the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan with a delegation from the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by member R. Nurpeisov.
At the beginning of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, M. Abdullaev, emphasized that interstate relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan have reached the level of alliance and strategic partnership. It was noted that, under the conditions of expanding economic cooperation between our countries, close cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of the two states plays an important role in ensuring effective and transparent use of public funds.
It was highlighted that the Cooperation Memorandum signed within the framework of the INTOSAI Congress held in Egypt in 2025 provides a solid basis for inter-institutional experience exchange, joint research, and the organization of training courses.
During the meeting, issues of further developing cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of the two countries were discussed. In particular, the importance of sharing experience in the areas of evaluating the effectiveness of state programs, implementing digital audit, organizing audits of state asset management, and strengthening control over electronic government procurement was emphasized.
The parties expressed interest in organizing joint seminars in these areas, facilitating expert exchanges, and expanding practical cooperation.
Information was provided on the transformational activities of the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan. The Kazakh delegation also became acquainted with the activities of the Chamber’s “Remote Monitoring Center.” The automated information system “Remote Audit,” introduced to conduct risk analysis in government agencies, was presented.
Additionally, an Action Plan for strengthening cooperation between the supreme audit institutions of the two countries for 2026–2028 was signed. This Plan complements the Cooperation Memorandum signed at the INTOSAI Congress held in Egypt in October 2025.
Based on the results of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation and to continue systematic dialogue on the development of the state audit system.
