At the beginning of the meeting, were presented socio-economic indicators for the first five months of the current year. It was noted that during this period, industry grew by 6.4 percent, exports increased by 18 percent, and the inflow of foreign investment by 46 percent. More than 2.5 thousand new production facilities worth 3 billion USD were put into operation. 2 million 400 thousand people were provided with sources of income. 

At the meeting, problems were analyzed in the context of regions and industries, and systemic shortcomings were identified.

In this regard, it was decided to introduce a new mechanism for improving executive discipline and organizing work with citizens' appeals.

From now on, the Chamber of Accounts (COA) will be responsible for compliance with the executive discipline, and its mandate will expand. The COA will analyze not only the targeted use of funds, but also their effectiveness and the degree of satisfaction of the population. Based on this analysis, the COA will make proposals to the President

The COA will analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of each resolution and make monthly proposals to the President on "weak links", as well as on management and non-working systems.

In parallel, the COA was instructed to implement the electronic portal "Khalk Nazorati" (“People’s Control”), successfully tested in Tashkent, throughout the country within a month. This portal will become a unified system for processing applications, to which all ministries, departments and khokimiyats will connect.

At the end of the meeting, the President’s advisers, members of the Government, ministers and khokims reported on the measures being implemented on the discussed issues.
