Audit of ‘Dori-Darmon’ JSC
The Chamber of Accounts (COA) conducted an analysis of performance and compliance of ‘Dori-Darmon’ JSC and its subsidiaries with regulatory documents.

For information: ‘Dori-Darmon’ JSC is a leading wholesale and retail company in the pharmaceutical market of Uzbekistan. The company comprises 6 joint-stock companies and 7 limited liability companies, including 17 warehouses and 15 analytical laboratories. To date, ‘Dori-Darmon’ JSC has opened over 1,600 pharmacies. The company cooperates with over 130 leading international companies.
The analysis revealed that to improve the Company's performance, it is necessary to improve its financial, organizational, and management systems, as well as to widely implement digital technologies.
Specifically, ‘Dori-Darmon’ JSC's market share, imports, and production do not correspond to its available resources.
Based on the results of the study, the Company was given instructions on preparing financial statements in accordance with international standards and on a consolidated basis, ensuring strict compliance with public procurement legislation, and implementing video surveillance systems in pharmacies.
Furthermore, opportunities were identified to strengthen control over debtors and creditors, as well as improve performance through digitalization of business processes at the Company and its subsidiaries.
Discussions regarding the deficiencies identified by the COA were held with the Company's management. Specific measures to address them were identified. The implementation of these measures is being monitored.
