Pakistani Auditors: “International experience and exchange of views are essential in digital public auditing.”
Within the framework of the international conference held in Tashkent on the topic “Digitalization of Audit Processes and Analysis of Big Data through Artificial Intelligence,” representatives of the Supreme Audit Institution of Pakistan, Mr. Attik Ur-Rahman and Ms. Mizna Nasir, shared their views on the implementation of digital technologies in the audit sector in their country and on the role of this conference in advancing the field.

According to the representatives, in today’s era of rapid digitalization of public administration systems, traditional control methods are gradually losing their relevance.
Transitioning to innovative analytical mechanisms and artificial intelligence algorithms is the only effective way to elevate audit quality and transparency to a new level.
At the conference, representatives of Pakistan’s Supreme Audit Institution shared their successful experiences.
Pakistani experts emphasized the need to use artificial intelligence in the public sector to accelerate government decision-making processes and to ensure its responsible use.
This international forum represents the practical implementation of the strategic objectives set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for modernizing the state financial control system.
Foreign colleagues highlighted that the event’s main mission is not only to serve as a platform for global experience exchange but also to achieve the following objectives:
-ensuring maximum use of Big Data and AI capabilities in public auditing;
-developing digital analysis and modern IT skills among young auditors;
-further strengthening integration and unified audit standards among ASOSAI member states.
The specialists also noted that this international conference serves as an important platform for addressing challenges faced by Supreme Audit Institutions in applying artificial intelligence and Big Data technologies in information technology auditing and stressed the importance of organizing such events on a regular basis.
The Pakistani experts expressed their sincere gratitude to the organizers of the event and wished all specialists of Supreme Audit Institutions continued success in the future.
