Delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh: — “We believe that friendship and cooperation between Bangladesh and Uzbekistan will continue to strengthen”
Representatives of the delegation of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh — Tahmina Akter and Banasree Basu — who participated in the international conference held in Uzbekistan on the topic “Digitalization of Audit Processes and Analysis of Big Data Using Artificial Intelligence,” highly acknowledged the large-scale reforms aimed at bringing public audit to a new stage of development and emphasized the high level of international cooperation.

The delegation representatives noted that this was their first visit to Uzbekistan and stated that the country impressed them with its rich history, sincere hospitality, and rapidly developing economy.
They described the capital city of Tashkent as a harmonious combination of modernity and tradition.
They also emphasized that the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years, especially achievements in the field of digital transformation, made a strong impression on the delegation members. They highly appreciated the consistent efforts to ensure transparency in public administration and to develop e-government.
In addition, the delegation highlighted that during the conference they had the opportunity to closely observe the operations of the Chamber of Accounts’ Remote Audit Center and noted the availability of real-time remote auditing capabilities and the effective use of advanced technologies to ensure data security.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that the development of automated analytical modules based on artificial intelligence within the center’s systems serves as an exemplary model for Bangladesh as well.
Addressing cooperation issues, the delegation stressed the importance of further deepening cooperation between the Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh and the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan within the frameworks of INTOSAI and ASOSAI.
For this purpose, the following practical proposals were presented:
-establishing a joint online training platform for auditors of both countries;
-developing a unified methodological guide on IT audit;
-creating a systematic exchange of experience in the field of cybersecurity auditing.
The delegation members expressed sincere gratitude to the leadership and staff of the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan for organizing the conference at a high level and expressed confidence that friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to grow stronger.
