An economic study session dedicated to studying the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Chamber of Accounts

An economic study session dedicated to an in-depth review of the substance and significance of the Address delivered by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Oliy Majlis and the multinational people of Uzbekistan, as well as to the practical implementation of its priority areas, was held at the Chamber of Accounts.

The session was conducted under the leadership of the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts, M. Abdullayev. During the event, Deputy Chairman S. Mirzayev provided comprehensive information on the key directions outlined in the Presidential Address, the major socio-economic achievements attained during the current year, and the strategic objectives set for 2026.


It was emphasized that the Address defines clear tasks aimed at promoting technological and innovative economic development, reducing poverty, increasing household incomes, strengthening the mahalla system, ensuring a “green” economy and environmental sustainability, as well as carrying out fundamental reforms in public administration and the judicial and legal system.


The study also conceptually addressed forthcoming reforms, including the introduction of deputy positions responsible for compliance and internal anti-corruption control in all state bodies, the establishment of the activities of a representative of the Chamber of Accounts, and the strengthening of personal accountability for every sum of public funds and resources.


During the session, First Deputy Chairman M. Abdullayev emphasized that the Presidential Address plays a crucial role in improving the well-being of the population, creating decent living conditions for citizens, and ensuring the country’s sustainable development. He also reminded the staff of the Chamber of Accounts of the need to further strengthen oversight over the efficient, targeted, and rational use of public funds and resources, as well as to ensure transparency and the rule of law.


The economic study session contributed to a deeper understanding by the staff of the Chamber of Accounts of the essence and significance of the tasks set out in the Presidential Address and to strengthening the institution’s role and responsibility in their implementation.
