Discussing the activities of public financial control bodies to ensure budget discipline
On November 21, the Chamber of Accounts (COA) of Uzbekistan and the Training Center under the Ministry of Economy and Finance jointly organized a roundtable discussion on "Coordination of the activities of public financial control bodies to ensure budget discipline."

The roundtable was attended by the staff of the State Financial Control Inspectorate of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and instructors from the Training Center.
At the event, the COA presented a report on "The Procedure for Using the COA's ‘State Audit’ Software by State Financial Control Bodies and Internal Audit Services."
The report provided detailed explanations of the current state of the State Audit information system and the work being done to further improve it.
A presentation was also given on "Compliance with Legislative Requirements in Procurement Procedures by Government Customers." The event discussed issues of government customers' failure to comply with legal requirements during procurement procedures, as well as conflicts of interest and affiliations, and a number of other issues.
Furthermore, information was provided on ongoing efforts to improve procurement procedures.
The COA provided participants with relevant recommendations and instructions for addressing existing problems that frequently arise in their work.
