International conference held at the Law Enforcement Academy

An international scientific conference on “Ensuring the rule of law in the context of modern challenges: problems and solutions” was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by state bodies, foreign experts, representatives of international organizations, academic circles and specialists from law enforcement agencies.


Within the framework of the conference, parallel sessions were organized on issues of combating the legalization of criminal proceeds, anti-corruption policy, cybersecurity, legal regulation of artificial intelligence, human rights in migration processes, as well as education in the field of law enforcement in the context of digital transformation.


At the plenary session of the event, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts (COA) S.Mirzayev reported on the reforms being implemented in our country to combat corruption, improve state financial control, ensure openness and transparency.


Emphasis was placed on strengthening international cooperation, studying best practices and using artificial intelligence in the process of digitizing state financial audit.


At the session on “Corruption 2.0: Digital Risks and Innovative Solutions”, a Chief Inspector of COA, doctor of technical sciences Sh. Fayziev delivered a report on “Prevention of Corruption through the Use of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in State Auditing”.


The presentation covered the possibilities of real-time risk identification based on artificial intelligence, automated solutions in monitoring public procurement, subsidies and grants, and the importance of data analysis in early detection and prevention of corruption factors. Attention was also paid to issues such as digital audit elements being introduced in the Accounts Chamber and future projects.


The conference was held in an open and constructive dialogue format.


During the event, the views of representatives of the UN, OSCE, European Union, UNESCO, OECD and other influential international organizations were heard.


This international conference has become an effective platform for the practical exchange of ideas between government bodies and representatives of the international community regarding the assessment of global challenges in the fields of law enforcement, anti-corruption, cyber security and migration, as well as their solutions.
