It was attended by the staff of the COA’s Interdepartmental Centre for remote management of state financial control bodies and internal audit services, heads of specialized departments of the MDT, heads of agencies, inspections, institutions subordinate to the Ministry, their deputies for financial issues, internal audit, anti-corruption compliance control and other responsible employees.

The meeting identified measures to eliminate the deficiencies and their early prevention.

In particular, it was emphasized that special attention should be paid to the prevention of budget legislation violations in a number of areas together with the Ministry of Economy and Finance and its departments. 

In particular, these include correctness of wage calculation and equivalent payments to budget organizations, control over construction work carried out at facilities included in the program for the development of social and industrial infrastructure.

Special focus was made on the need to assess the effectiveness of subsidies allocated from the budget system, control over compliance with legislation on public procurement, the effectiveness of foreign loan projects and grants, as well as control over the targeted use of budget processes at all stages.
