State visit of President of Uzbekistan to Mongolia
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by his spouse, arrived in Mongolia for a state visit at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khürelsükh.

During the visit, the leaders of the two countries held talks in a narrow circle and with the participation of official delegations. It was emphasized that this first visit in the history of bilateral relations would mark a new stage in the development of multifaceted Uzbek-Mongolian relations.
Contacts and exchanges have intensified at all levels. Trade turnover indicators are growing rapidly. The number of joint ventures is increasing, the first cooperation projects have been launched in the fields of healthcare, education, e-commerce, agriculture, and production of building materials.
It was noted that there is significant potential for increasing mutual trade in the upcoming years. These include partnership in the mining sector, including the development of a program for geological exploration, development of raw material deposits, technology transfer, exchange of experience and training of personnel.
To promote projects in this area, a representative office of the Ministry of Geology of Uzbekistan was opened in Ulaanbaatar.
It is planned to establish direct air communications between the capitals by the end of the year.
A proposal was made to conduct practical research to identify the shortest and most effective transport corridors for landlocked countries, together with the International Analytical Institute.
It was decided to actively develop cooperation between higher education institutions and resume the education of Mongolian youth in higher education institutions of Uzbekistan within the allocated quotas.
It was also decided to adopt a "road map" for the timely and high-quality implementation of the agreements reached.
Following the high-level talks, the Presidents signed a Joint Declaration on the Establishment of Comprehensive Partnership Relations.
Then, at a meeting with media, the leaders expressed their opinions on the results of the talks.
