Events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation

Solemn events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation were held in the city of Moscow. A delegation led by Deputy Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sardor Mirzaev, took part in these events.

For reference: The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation is the supreme state audit authority, accountable to the Federal Assembly (Parliament), and established in accordance with the Constitution. Its main task is to monitor the targeted and efficient use of federal budget funds.

In this context, an extended meeting of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation was held. During the meeting, information was presented on the audit activities conducted in 2024 and their outcomes.

As part of the visit to Moscow, Sardor Mirzaev held a bilateral working meeting with Galina Izotova, Deputy Chairperson of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the parties discussed key results of interagency cooperation and identified priority areas for future collaboration.

In addition, the agenda included meetings between the delegation of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the heads of delegations of the supreme audit institutions of CIS countries.

Specifically, discussions were held with the supreme audit institutions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, and Belarus on bilateral cooperation and collaboration within international organizations (INTOSAI, ASOSAI, ECOSAI, and the CIS).

The parties reached agreements on enhancing human resource capacity, implementing international audit standards, participating in joint audit projects, and exchanging experience in the development of a medium-term strategy.

The partners also agreed to intensify mutual dialogue in the future.
