Kazakh Expert: “Digital Audit and Big Data Will Define the Future of Public Financial Control”
During the international conference held in Tashkent on “Digitalization of Audit Processes and Analysis of Big Data through Artificial Intelligence,” representative of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Chief Consultant of the Digitalization Department, Zhenisov Turar Bauyrzhanuly, shared his views on the importance of the event and international cooperation in the field of digital transformation of public auditing.

According to him, the introduction of digital technologies, Big Data, and artificial intelligence tools into the public financial control system is becoming one of the highest priorities for Supreme Audit Institutions.
In particular:
“Today, the volume of data within public administration systems is growing rapidly. This requires the broader use of intelligent analytics and digital monitoring mechanisms alongside traditional audit approaches.
The international conference organized in Tashkent serves as an important practical platform in this regard.”
The expert emphasized that Uzbekistan’s efforts to digitalize public auditing, strengthen transparency in public administration, and develop electronic oversight mechanisms deserve high recognition.
“We became closely acquainted with the activities of the Remote Audit Center of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The system’s capabilities for early risk identification, automated analysis, and targeted inspections generated significant interest.
This experience can serve as an important model not only for countries in the region but also for Supreme Audit Institutions worldwide.”
He also noted that the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan creates a strong foundation for cooperation between their Supreme Audit Institutions.
“Friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan continue to develop consistently across all areas, including audit and digital transformation.
We are interested in further expanding cooperation in experience exchange, IT audit, data analytics, and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in public auditing.”
It should be noted that this international conference was organized on the platform of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI), bringing together experts from various countries to discuss the digital future of public auditing, IT audit, Big Data analytics, and opportunities created by artificial intelligence.
In conclusion, the Kazakh expert emphasized:
“Such international dialogue platforms will continue to play an important role in improving the effectiveness of public auditing, introducing modern technologies, and strengthening professional cooperation.”
