A Webinar for the Chamber of Accounts Conducted by Auditors of the Supreme Audit Institution of Hungary

On December 10 of this year, officials of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in an online training conducted by representatives of the State Audit Office of Hungary.

At the beginning of the webinar, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts S. Mirzaev emphasized that relations between the Supreme Audit Institutions of Uzbekistan and Hungary are at a high level. It was noted that strengthening staff professional competence is among the priorities of bilateral cooperation.


During the webinar, a presentation was delivered on “Tasks of the State Audit Office of Hungary Related to Planning and Execution of the Central Budget.” The presentation covered the office’s key functions, activities supporting the Fiscal Council’s decision-making process, and regular monitoring of budgetary procedures.


Later, discussions were held regarding the issuance of conclusions on the draft Central Budget Law. Hungarian auditors presented information on the 2026 Central Budget review program and key conclusions on the draft budget law.


At the end of the webinar, a presentation titled “Models in Monitoring Analysis” was delivered. It covered forecasting tax revenues to ensure annual income reaches 100 percent of the budget estimates, as well as a model for predicting the development of wage-related taxes.


The topics discussed during the webinar were noted as highly relevant for the Chamber of Accounts of Uzbekistan, which is aligning its activities with international standards.
