From Karshi, the President went to Shakhrisabz by train. There, he oversaw the activities of the multidisciplinary cardiology center. The tourism potential of the slopes of Mount Gissar in the Shakhrisabz region was also presented.

The Head of our State also visited the Gissar hydroelectric power station built near the Gisoraki reservoir in the Shakhrisabz region.

The President also visited the Yangi Uzbekistan complex built in the Yakkabag district.

Then, on June 20, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting in the Kokdala district on measures for the socio-economic development of the Kashkadarya region. He noted that major changes have been taking place in the region, and reforms are entering people's lives. 

The President pointed out additional opportunities for the comprehensive development of the region.
