Representative of the Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan Highly Praised the International Conference in Tashkent and Bilateral Cooperation Relations
Within the framework of the international conference held in our capital on the topic “Digitalization of Audit Processes and Analysis of Big Data through Artificial Intelligence,” foreign experts have highly evaluated the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan.
In particular, Vasif Rasulov, representative of the Chamber of Accounts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and participant of the event, shared his views on the prospects for cooperation between the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of the two countries:
“For me, Uzbekistan is a country of ancient history, rich culture, and dynamic reforms. The economic and social transformations carried out here in recent years, especially efforts aimed at strengthening transparency and accountability in public administration, deserve special recognition. Tashkent’s modern infrastructure and the high level of organization of international events demonstrate the rapid pace of the country’s development.
Relations between the Chambers of Accounts of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan are consistently developing on a friendly and mutually beneficial basis. The memorandum on cooperation recently signed between our institutions is clear evidence of this.
As a result, we have been closely cooperating in exchanging experience, conducting joint training programs, and introducing modern audit methods — particularly digitalization and Big Data technologies — into practice. In my opinion, relations between Supreme Audit Institutions are an important factor for effective public financial management not only bilaterally but also internationally.
This conference has been organized at a very high level, and the topic raised — analyzing large volumes of data using artificial intelligence — is currently one of the highest priorities for all of us. The presentations, practical examples, and exchanges of views with industry specialists provided many new ideas that can be applied in our future activities. The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan will continue to actively participate in such advanced events with great interest.”
At the same time, Vasif Rasulov emphasized that the international conference in Tashkent will contribute to bringing international cooperation in digital auditing to a new stage and further strengthening partnership relations.
