At the meeting, a presentation was made on budget execution for the first half of 2025, the organization of control work and the main tasks for the second half of the year.

As noted, over the past period, at the Ministry and subordinate structures studies were carried out by the Internal Audit Service. As a result, the corresponding budget funds were optimized.

The Ministry's database is integrated into the ‘Remote Audit’ information system of the COA. With the help of this system, risks arising in the activities of the Ministry are monitored and sent back to the Ministry for their full elimination.

The report also discussed the work carried out to assess and improve the quality of the activities of the Internal Audit Service.

Plans were also outlined to further improve the effectiveness of remote monitoring of the financial activities of system organizations through the ‘Situation Centre’ created in the Ministry.

The COA issued recommendations on monitoring and control over the targeted and effective use of budget funds in the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change.
