Seminars for Chief Inspectors held at the COA

To ensure the implementation of Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-252 of December 18, 2025, "On Additional Measures for Further Improving State Audit and Financial Control Activities," three-day in-depth training seminars were organized for representatives of the Chamber of Accounts (COA)—chief inspectors—embedded in government agencies and organizations.

The goal of these seminars was to enhance the professional capacity of newly appointed chief inspectors, acting as COA’s representatives in government agencies and organizations, and to ensure a thorough understanding of their responsibilities and powers.

During the seminars, participants received a detailed explanation of the priority areas of work outlined in the Decree, in particular:

- Strengthening oversight over the effective and targeted use of budget funds;

- Preventing violations of the law and organizing preventive measures;

- Monitoring public procurement, investment projects, and infrastructure facilities;

- Implementing risk assessment and analysis mechanisms.

Practical training was also held on key responsibilities of chief inspectors, their accountability, and skills in using the ‘State Audit’ software.

The training seminars focused on modern approaches, including the digitalization of state audit processes, the use of artificial intelligence technologies, and the effective implementation of remote audit capabilities.

These events serve the purpose of effectively organizing the work of chief inspectors, strengthening budget discipline in government agencies and organizations, and taking the state financial control system to a new level.
