China’s Auditor General visited the Chamber of Accounts

Today, within the framework of the transformation processes carried out in the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the further development of international relations is one of the priority tasks.

From April 9 to 13, a delegation headed by the Auditor General of the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China Hou Kai is visiting our country on a working visit.


The purpose of the visit is to strengthen relations between the supreme financial control bodies of the two countries and exchange experience in the field of external audit.


This is the first visit of the head of the Auditor General of China to our country. As part of the visit, an official meeting of the heads of the supreme financial control bodies of the two countries was held at the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan. At the beginning of the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Accounts M. Abdullaev touched upon the traditional friendly relations between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China, which have a deep historical basis, and noted the high potential for promising cooperation between the two countries. Then M. Abdullaev presented information on the large-scale transformation processes currently being implemented in the Accounts Chamber.


During the meeting, presentations were made by delegations from both sides. The speeches focused on current audit areas. In particular, an exchange of views took place on improving audit methodologies, modern audit technologies and information technology systems.


At the same time, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the parties aimed at strengthening cooperation with the National Audit Office of the People's Republic of China.


This Memorandum provides for agreements on developing mutually beneficial cooperation between the supreme financial control bodies of the two countries, exchanging experience in the field of external audit methodologies, information technology and innovative solutions, as well as developing human resources and promoting professional development.


At the same time, the two agencies agreed to establish a mutual exchange of experience between employees, digitalization of audit processes, artificial intelligence and many other important areas of cooperation.


The delegation led by the Auditor General of the People's Republic of China Hou Kai got acquainted with the activities of the Remote Control Center of the Chamber of Accounts . The delegation members were informed about the transformation processes carried out by the Chamber of Accounts in the field of digitalization and the use of information technology in audit processes. Following the meeting, an interdepartmental council was created between the supreme financial control institutions of Uzbekistan and China. The parties also reached a preliminary agreement to develop a three-year action plan in the near future.
